What destinations do you fly to?
We offer scheduled daily flights between Connemara Airport and all three Aran Islands: Inis Mór, Inis Meáin, and Inis Oírr. We also offer scenic flights over the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands, with or without an island drop-off.
How long is the flight?
Flights to the Aran Islands take just 8–10 minutes each way, offering breathtaking views the whole way.
Do flights operate year-round?
Yes! We operate 7 days a week, all year round, with multiple flights per day. We are only closed 3 days of the year.
Where is the airport located?
Our mainland base is Connemara Airport, located in Inverin, Co. Galway — about 30 minutes’ drive west of Galway City.
BOOKING & CHECK-IN
How do I book a flight?
You can book directly on our website. Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during the summer.
When should I check in?
Please arrive at the airport 45 minutes before departure. Flights cannot be held for late arrivals.
Can I make changes to my booking?
Yes, subject to availability. Please contact us directly if you need to change your flight. Change fees may apply.
Are flights refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable if cancelled by the customer, but we will always work with you to rebook where possible.
LUGGAGE & RESTRICTIONS
How much luggage can I bring?
Each passenger is allowed 10kg of hand luggage. Extra or oversized bags must be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.
What size luggage can I bring?
You are allowed to bring baggage up to the dimensions of a standard carry-on bag (40x30x20cm). Extra or oversized bags must be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.
Can I bring sports gear or equipment?
Yes, but space is limited. Please contact us in advance if you’re bringing items like bikes, surfboards, or diving gear.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, small pets are welcome to travel with us. Please note that a maximum weight limit of 15kg applies.
WEATHER & DELAYS
What happens if my flight is cancelled due to weather?
Safety is our top priority. If a flight is cancelled due to weather, we will work with you to reschedule or offer a full refund.
Should I plan for delays?
While most flights operate as scheduled, the west coast weather can be unpredictable. We advise leaving some flexibility in your travel plans, especially during the winter months.
GROUND TRANSPORT
Is there a shuttle or bus to Connemara Airport?
Yes! You can book a seat on our shuttle service from Galway City when booking your flight. Bus tickets must be booked online and are non-refundable if cancelled by the customer.
Can I park at Connemara Airport?
Yes, we offer free on-site parking for passengers.
Is there a bus on Inis Mór?
Yes, there is a regular bus service on Inis Mór that operates in line with our flight schedule, running from the airport into the town.

What is a scenic flight?
Our scenic flights are 35 minute aerial tours over the Aran Islands and the iconic Cliffs of Moher. They’re perfect for photography, special occasions, or simply to experience the west coast from the sky, views like never before.
Can I combine a scenic flight with an island visit?
Absolutely! Choose our “Scenic Flight with Island Drop-off” option to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Are scenic flights private?
We offer scenic flights per flight basis and not on per seat basis. For private charters, use our enquiry form or contact our team directly.
